The Annual VFW Fall Festival Will Be In Lufkin Beginning September 3rd
September kicks off the fair and festival season in Deep East Texas. The Texas State Forest Festival will be coming to the Expo Center in Lufkin on September 17-20. The Pineywoods Fair at the Nacogdoches Expo Center is set for October 7-10. But first up is the annual VFW Fall Festival, September 3-6, at the VFW Post 1836 on Ford Chapel Road in Lufkin. This event not only brings fun for the whole family, but is also the largest fundraiser for this organization that does so much for our area veterans throughout the year.

A Look At The Carnival At VFW Fall Festival
The Heart of America Shows has a reputation for bringing some of the best carnival rides to East Texas. Whether you like to live on the wild side with rides like the OMG or Zipper, or you're looking for something more tame that suits the much younger crowd, the VFW Fall Festival has plenty of rides for all age groups. Once again, armbands will be your best value. $35 will get you an armband to ride unlimited during the carnival hours on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. An armband on Saturday will run $40. On Thursday, you can get a $5 discount on an armband by bringing 3 non-perishable food items.
Other Features At The VFW Fall Festival
