
East Texas Continues Hot Streak with Lottery Wins
An East Texas grocery store sold a jackpot-winning Texas Lottery Cash Five ticket for the drawing on Saturday, May 24.
The Super 1 Foods, located at 172 Centennial Parkway (just off South Broadway) in Tyler, sold a ticket worth $25,000.
No other tickets sold for Saturday night's game matched all five numbers (4-6-12-18-20). Seventy tickets statewide matched four out of five numbers, for a $350 payout.
How To Play the Texas Lottery Cash Five Game
The Cash Five drawings are held every Monday through Saturday nights at 10:12. Players select five numbers between 1 to 35. Anyone matching all five numbers wins the jackpot payout of $25,000.
The odds of winning the top prize are around 1 in 325,000.
