The students and staff of Groveton ISD were so genuinely respectful of our Veterans

On Tuesday, November 10, Nacogdoches Sheet Metal, Plumbing and AC will be hosting their annual veterans and first responders appreciation party.

This weekend, there's a really cool event coming to the venue downtown, and it's to honor our veterans.

As has become tradition, the city of Huntington rolled out the red, white, and blue carpet for our veterans

Thursday, the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce will be presenting an Alive After Five event hosted by Nacogdoches Sheet Metal & Plumbing, and Nacogdoches AC.

Friday, November 11th, Huntington ISD presented their 21st annual Veteran's Day Program.  Huntington has a great reputation of holding one of the best programs in East Texas, and once again they did not disappoint.

A Delta Airlines Flight originating in Germany and traveling to Houston had onboard a soldier who was charged with returning the remains of a World War II soldier to Texas.

I'm going to pass along some statistics concerning our military men and women that are shocking and disturbing.

Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Silver Star, Navy Cross...pick one or several and wear them at will, even if you didn't earn them.  That's free speech according to the U.S. Courts.

On a rainy Saturday, around 75 volunteers gathered to plant American Flags on local graves.

Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th, and this Saturday, Cracker Barrel in Lufkin is going to plant 2000 American Flags on area graves.
