Saturday, September 26, Diboll Day officially begins with its famous parade, scheduled to start at 9 am. Parade entries will stage on Hines Street near First United Methodist Church. The parade route will take entries northbound on Hines, then intersect with the Highway 59 (Temple Drive) frontage road, turn south in front of Brookshire Brothers, head east on Thompson Drive, and return to the original staging area. The parade route will be closed to motorists beginning at 7 am on Saturday. Anyone parked along the route after 7 am will be towed.

What's Next Following the Parade?

Once the parade is over, Diboll Day moves to Old Orchard Park for a day full of fun, food, and activities for the family. Vehicle access to Old Orchard Park will be shut off for everyone except vendors at 7:00 AM. Diboll Day History

Diboll Day was celebrated as an annual event from 1953-1958. Since 1958, it has been celebrated biannually on even-numbered years. The odd-numbered years were reserved for Diboll's sister city, Pineland, to celebrate Pineland Day. The only time that tradition has been broken was in 2020 due to safety concerns for citizens during a worldwide pandemic.
