Friday proved to be an historic night for mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show.  A five-year-old cowboy from Garrison put up the best score for mutton bustin' in the history of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo.

Lynk Stokes' ride of 94 points not only was record-setting, but it places him in the overall lead after two nights of competition.  Rylie Fuller, also of Garrison, was close behind with a great ride of 92 points.  Lane Parker of Woden and Kamden Martin of Central Heights also scored high with rides of 88 and 87 points respectively.

Night number 3 of mutton bustin' and the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo gets underway at 7:15 tonight as 15 more cowboys and cowgirls will try to make high marks in the mutton bustin' competition.
