The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo is coming up March 23-25. Registration for mutton busting is going on now

The mutton busters for the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo have been drawn.

Friday proved to be an historic night for mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show.  A five-year-old cowboy from Garrison put up the best score for mutton bustin' in the history of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo.

You couldn't have scripted the final night of mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show any better.  On a night that saw the best scores of the 3 nights of riding, Kaleb Eddings of Nacogdoches was holding on to the lead with a score of 82 points with one rider to go.

Night number two of the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show featured 10 more cowboys and cowgirls trying for the top ride in the KICKS 105 Mutton Bustin' competition, sponsored by Deep East Texas Electric Co-op.

They rode frontways, sideways, and even backwards.  Night number one of mutton bustin' at the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show produced some highly entertaining rides as 10 area youngsters held on to the wool as long as they could.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is set to get underway Thursday and runs through Saturday night.  The rodeo gets underway at 7:30 p.m., but get there early to see one of the most entertaining events.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 26th-28th at the Nacogdoches Expo and Convention Center. One of the big draws for the annual event is the KICKS 105 Mutton Bustin'.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show gets kicked off this Thursday and continues through Saturday night.  The rodeo starts at 7:30 nightly, but at 7 it's mutton bustin' with KICKS 105 and Baskins.

Cowboys, cowgirls, horses, bulls, bullfighters...just some of the things that quickly come to mind when the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show comes to mind.  And, let's not forget one of the most loved attractions - MUTTON BUSTING!

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show kicks off on Thursday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center. Schedule of events for tonight includes the Nacogdoches Co 4H Pony Express at 6:45 p.m., Muttin Bustin' at 7:00 p.m. and the opening of the rodeo will start at 7:45 p.m.

The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 22nd-24th at the Nacogdoches Expo Center.  Classic Pro Rodeo will once again be putting on a great family rodeo. And, once again, KICKS 105 will be hosting the mutton bustin' competition each night just before the rodeo.
