Georgia-Pacific Diboll Particleboard recently honored a group of long-serving employees for their remarkable commitment to the company and the composite panel industry. With almost three hundred years of combined service, ten employees were celebrated for their dedication to the plant’s success.

Lee Tamez, Sherman Thomas, Frank Miranda, Bill Hardin, Tim Farmer, Christopher Haschke, Eric Watson, Manuel Chagolla, Jose Lila Flores, and David McCall began their careers at the Diboll Particleboard from the 1980s to the early 2000s, playing an integral role in the plant’s growth and development.

“These employees have shown unwavering dedication and loyalty to the composite panel industry,” said Andrew Dover, Georgia-Pacific Diboll Particleboard Plant Manager. Their wealth of experience and expertise has been a driving force behind the plant’s success, and we commend their significant contributions.'"

Over the years, the plant has seen significant technological advancements and capital improvements, yet one constant has remained: the strong bonds formed between employees. "We have a unique team of men and women here at the plant," Dover said. "Many of our employees have been with us for years. We support each other and treat one another like family. We're a close-knit group that genuinely enjoys both the work we do and the people we work alongside every day."

To celebrate these milestones, Georgia-Pacific hosted employee luncheons at the Diboll plant, where each honoree was presented with a plaque as a token of appreciation for their loyalty and dedication.
