Georgia-Pacific Spreads Holiday Cheer to Over 100 East Texas Kids
Employees at Georgia-Pacific’s Diboll Particleboard plant are once again spreading Christmas cheer at the Boys and Girls Club in Diboll. For the third consecutive year, the dedicated team at the Diboll plant has purchased gifts for more than 100 children, helping to ensure that every child has a memorable Christmas.
Recently during the Club’s annual Christmas party, Georgia-Pacific employees joined Santa to distribute a variety of gifts, including dolls, trucks, stuffed animals, and sporting equipment, compliments of Georgia-Pacific employees and The Boys and Girls Club of Diboll.
“The entire event was a heartwarming celebration of community spirit, with families and friends coming together to share in the joy of the season,” said Kenith Jackson, Diboll Boys and Girls Club Director. “The generosity of Georgia-Pacific and its employees makes a real difference and brings the spirit of Christmas to our community. Our club is so grateful to partner with Georgia-Pacific.”
According to Yana Ogletree, Texas Public and Government Affairs Manager for Georgia-Pacific, Diboll Particleboard employees are quick to support this holiday initiative. “We are incredibly proud of our employees and the role they play in making Christmas special for area children. The excitement and gratitude we see on the children’s faces remind us of how important it is to give back and spread kindness during this time of year.”
