Those are the definitions offered by The Free Dictionary...okay, that last entry may have been embellished a bit. But, Grayson still easily fits the definitions.

Grayson Does It Again

Rodriguez had another stellar start with his latest outing tonight at Camden Yards against the Chicago White Sox. The Central Heights, Texas native had one of his most dominating Major League performances as he pitched six scoreless innings, surrendering just one hit and striking out six. He threw a total of 96 pitches tonight.

Baltimore would end up blasting the White Sox 9-0 and Grayson Rodriguez was credited with the victory as he now goes to 4-3 in his MLB career. The 1st-place Orioles improved to 82-49.

One Of The Best in July/August

Since returning to the Majors on July 17, Grayson is 2-0 and has an ERA of 2.83. That makes him one of the top-performing pitchers in Major League Baseball since the All-Star break. See also dominate.

Baltimore holds a 2.5-game lead over the second-place Tampa Bay Rays. Both teams are playing great baseball as each team has won 8 out of their last 10 games. The Orioles will need Grayson's overpowering performances to continue as Baltimore's push for the playoffs over the final 30 games reaches a head.

Next Up for Grayson

Rodriguez is scheduled to get his next start on the mound on Monday, September 4. He'll be toeing the rubber as the Orioles travel out West to take on the Los Angeles Angels.
