Will we be seeing more pictures like this Tuesday?

Winter weather appears to be a certainty across the Pineywoods as a strong Arctic blast is moving across East Texas today bringing strong winds and colder temperatures.  Then, the precipitation will start early Tuesday morning.

Michael Berry, meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Shreveport, says that the snowfall could be heaviest in the areas just south of Lufkin and Nacogdoches.  We can expect 1-2 inches of snow in our immediate vicinity, however, across Houston, Trinity, Polk, Tyler, Sabine and San Augustine counties that total could be closer to 4 inches in some isolated instances.

I had a chance to discuss the scenarios with Berry on the Merrell in the Morning Show and you can take a listen to that below.
