It’s Rodeo Time In Lufkin – Mutton Bustin’ Contestants Announced

One of the biggest and best rodeos in the nation is set to kick off tonight at the George H Henderson, Jr. Expo Center. The Lufkin Host Lions Club along with the Angelina County Mounted Patrol are set to present the Angelina Benefit Rodeo this Wednesday thru Saturday.

Of course, one of the most endearing events is the KICKS 105 Mutton Bustin' Championships.

36 youngsters from across East Texas will be riding sheep in the hopes of being the one who gets to hoist the championship trophy in the air on Saturday night. A special thanks to Baskins and Justin is also in order as they provide belt buckles for all riders and boots for the nightly winners.
