Fall Into Creativity at Lufkin’s 10th Annual Art in the Park

Now that the weather is finally cooperating and we seem to be moving into the fall season, there are more opportunities to take advantage of being outside and doing cool things. There just so happens to be an event coming up in Lufkin that will allow you to do just that!

10th Annual Art in the Park

According to a Facebook event page, the local organization Neighborhood Strong is getting ready for the 10th Annual Art in the Park. It will take place in Lufkin at Jones Park on October 10th starting at 10:00 AM and going until 2:00 PM.

This isn't just an art fair, or an art sale, this is a chance for local artists who want to inspire younger generations show off their craft. This event will showcase all different kinds of arts, from painting, woodworking, live music, graphic designs and more.

Getting Involved with Art in the Park

Another cool thing about Art in the Park is that there are no vendor fees and no sales associated with the event. The entire point of the day is to show off art and allow local youth to experience the arts that local people in the Deep East Texas area are producing.
