
$2 Million Texas Lottery Ticket Sold Near Houston
The Texas Lottery has awarded yet another player with a massive jackpot. I can’t imagine what it would be like to become a multi-millionaire overnight. However, one thing is for sure - I would keep it to myself. That’s exactly what the recent winner of the $2 million jackpot did.
Where the $2 Million Ticket Was Sold
The anonymous Missouri City resident hit it big in the Golden Riches game. The ticket was purchased at Murphy Express 8806, located at 12250 Southwest Freeway, in Meadows Place, according to a press release.

If you didn’t know, there’s a chance that the jackpot winner isn’t the only one to benefit from the ticket. The retailer who sold the winning ticket is eligible for a $10,000 bonus with the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
More $2 Million Jackpots Still Available
If you’re willing to pony up $50 for a ticket, there are still two $2 million jackpots that have yet to be claimed in the Golden Riches game. In addition, only 9 of 31 $10,000 prizes have been claimed as of this post. The game will award more than $181.2 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning a prize in Golden Riches are one in 3.76, including break-even prizes.
Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
