Texas Powerball Winner – Texas Lottery Confirms Saturday’s Win
Lone Star Luck is alive and well. Okay, if you don't count the hurricane and the subsequent power outages of last week things have been pretty lucky in the state of Texas. At least where the Texas Lottery is concerned it is safe to say the previous week has been one of good fortune for the state's lottery players.
Over the weekend the Texas Lottery confirmed some big money payouts in the Cash Five game. There was a $25,000 winner sold in Dallas and another sold in Waco. Just a few weeks ago the Texas Lottery and Powerball paid out a $1,000,000 prize to a winner in San Antonio. And Mega Millions and the Texas Lottery paid out a $3,000,000 prize to a player in Houston just over a month ago.
Saturday night's Powerball drawing kept the good vibes and the good luck flowing into the state of Texas. If you didn't see how the drawing played out. Here it is from Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The numbers that we observed rolling out of the hopper were:
09 55 59 66 69 Powerball 21 Power Play x2
Use those numbers for reference and please verify your tickets at the Official Powerball Website or the Official Texas Lottery Website. Those sites can confirm your winning ticket, your prize, and how to claim your prize. So, don't skip that step before you take any action with your tickets.
According to our sources in Austin, Texas at the Texas Lottery, Saturday's Powerball game produced 80 tickets that are worth $100. There were 42 tickets sold for Saturday's drawing that earned a prize of $200.
The Texas Lottery has also confirmed that a ticket sold for Saturday night's drawing matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. So that ticket is worth $50,000. There was also another ticket that matched that same scenario, four of five white balls and the Powerball but that ticket holder opted for the Power Play so their prize is $100,000.
No ticket matched the numbers needed to claim the game's top prize of $54.8 million so tonight's drawing ( Monday 07/15/24) will be for an estimated $64 million for the annuity or $30.7 million for the lump sum option.
The Texas Lottery will also have a drawing tonight in the Texas Lottery Lotto Texas with Extra! game. The top prize in that game is estimated to be $7 million. Mega Millions will draw on Tuesday night. The top prize in that multi-state lottery game is an estimated $226 million for the annuity or $106.9 million for the lump sum.
Please remember most lottery tickets purchased do not yield a return on your investment. Spend wisely and only play with money you can afford to lose. If you have a gambling problem call 1-800-GAMBLER. The call and the referrals are free. Good Luck.
