Lufkin Community Band Celebrating the Holidays

According to a press release, the Lufkin Community Band is presenting “Christmas and Hanukkah Celebration” Dec. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in Temple Theater.  

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for seniors, students and children. The program includes traditional Christmas favorites such as “The Christmas Song” and “O Holy Night” as well as songs that celebrate Hanukkah, such as “The Eighth Candle” and “The Festival of Hanukkah.”

Community band members from Lufkin are Cindy Broyles, Terri Burton, Lori Letney, Evelyn Walker, Sonja A Morgan, Debra White, Karen Mitchell, Anthony Hackney, Bethe Girardi, Trey Yarnall, Vanessa Martinez, Jimmy Battle, Melvin Eckman, John A. Thompson, Alex Oliveros, Robert Shanks, Robert Shanks and John A. Thompson.

Community band members from Nacogdoches include Kaitlyn Galloway, Gabrielle Guidry, Cesar Montelongo, Dennis Fleetwood, Jacob Laster, Eric Rodriguez, Dennis Fleetwood, Allison Girt, Mikayla Stillwell, Ben Kelly and Carole Deptula.

Other community band members are Stephanie Carcano, George Scogin and Kyle Campbell, all of Hudson; Michael Parrish and Carol Parrish, both of New Willard; Micah Huebner of Center, David Collins of Cleveland, DeAndre Harper of Corrigan, John Schmidt of Livingston and Hannah Strebeck of San Augustine.
