What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a wildly popular sport that is played with a paddle and combines the skill sets of tennis, badminton, and table tennis.

It's played on a badminton-sized court with a slightly lower net than tennis. Players use paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over the net.

What To Expect From The Ceremony at Chambers Park

The ceremony will recognize the latest recreational addition to the city’s park system and is part of an ongoing commitment to improve and expand outdoor amenities in Lufkin.
The morning's itinerary will include opening remarks, along with free bottled water, paddle sets, and other summer giveaways. A ceremonial first serve will inaugurate the courts.
This event is free and open to the public. The courts are designed to offer a fun and inclusive environment for all ages.
