Lufkin Police Alert Residents of Huge Rise of Vehicle Break-ins
Lufkin Police are urging residents to be vigilant and use common sense when it comes to protecting your vehicle(s) from criminals, this after a huge recent upswing in the number of car and truck break-ins in the area. Police are stressing that you lock your vehicles – even in your own driveway or garage and don’t leave any items inside. Just a few coins left in your vehicle might look appealing enough for someone to cause $300 worth of damage by breaking a window to gain access.
