Miranda Lambert Brings ‘It All Comes Out in the Wash’ to ‘Colbert’ [Watch]
Miranda Lambert made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (Oct. 30) to promote her forthcoming new album Wildcard. The country star appeared onstage, wearing a fiery red dress, to play her now-signature pink acoustic guitar and sing "It All Comes Out in the Wash," the lead single from the album.
During her performance, Lambert mirrored the extremely melodic hook before she launched into the carefree verses. In each of the song's verses, Lambert lists off a series of misdeeds and accidents, from wearing "stonewashed jeans while you're changing the oil" to "find[ing] yourself dating the bridesmaid's ex / You accidentally bring him to the wedding." The production remains twangy and breezy as Lambert advises to shrug it off.
