More Severe Storms Could Hit Us Again Tonight

Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

We desperately need the rain, but as an added bonus last night, we got the teeth of the storm as well.  There were many reports of hail and tornadoes throughout the Pineywoods last night, and we could have a repeat tonight. 

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a statement that indicates that East and Northeast Texas could experience more severe storms, especially as we transition into the evening hours.

A cool front is ready to push through the region late tonight and should bring strong to severe storms ahead of it, tornadoes are not out of the question.
