The Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and Steer Show is coming March 24th-26th to the Nacogdoches Expo and Civic Center. Cowboys and cowgirls will be riding...and that's before the rodeo even starts.

KICKS 105, Boot Barn, and Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative are once again proud to present the Mutton Bustin' competition.  Each of the 3 nights beginning at 7, area youngsters will be trying to hang on to speedy sheep as they dart from the bucking chutes.  A total of 10 riders will compete each night.  The top scoring rider each night will win a trophy, while the top scorer for all three nights will be crowned as grand champ and will receive a prize buckle.  Each rider will also receive a custom Easter basket courtesy of the Nacogdoches Expo and Civic Center and Evans United Shows.

Riders must be between 3-7 years old and weigh 60 pounds or less (strictly enforced).  Registrations are being taken at Boot Barn located at 3801 North Street in Nacogdoches.  Deadline to sign up is Friday, March 18th at 4 p.m.

A total of 10 riders will be drawn to ride each night.  The lucky 30 riders will be announced on the Merrell in the Morning show on Monday, March 21st.  We will also be contacting their parents on that Monday to arrange on which night they will ride.  A complete list of rules is available at the registration box at Boot Barn.
