Nacogdoches Sheriff’s Deputies Charge Woman with Theft
A Nacogdoches woman is in jail after allegedly stealing a vehicle and other property from two different locations. According to a report from the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office (NCSO), early Tuesday morning a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on FM 3314. Deputies began a search for the vehicle and a possible suspect.
Later in the day a call came in on Cedar Bluff Road that involved a person matching the suspect’s description that was stealing items from outside of a residence. Deputies responded to the area and would later locate the stolen vehicle parked at a residence on County Road 124. The suspect who was identified as Sherina Lejeune was found inside the residence. She was arrested at the scene and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony, and misdemeanor theft. The vehicle and property were recovered and returned to the rightful owners.
Lejeune, 37, was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
