Anyone who know me knows how big of a San Antonio Spurs fan I am. Since I was a little kid, it's always been about the black and silver for me. I've watch great come and go, such as David "The Admiral" Robinson, Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen, and others. This year, another big name is leaving San Antonio, and it's going to change the way the team looks in a big way.

For the first time since 2001, the San Antonio Spurs will be without the French star, Tony Parker. He will be playing for the Charlotte Hornets next season. Of the five championships that the Spurs have, Tony Parker has helped win four of them. I was in second grade when he was acquired through the NBA draft.

This means that the look of the Spurs - in my eyes - is going to be more different than I've seen it in 17 years.

What does this mean for the Spurs? Will they be able to get their sixth championship this year? I sure hope so. I'll be cheering for them to do it, as I always do. Nothing would bring me more joy than to see them dethrone the Golden State Warriors, the defending champions. They'll just have to do it with a different squad than they've had. Can they do it? Absolutely.
