It's been warm and muggy over the past week in the Pineywoods.  But, let's not forget it's still Winter and a cold front is set to move through the area later tonight, and that front will bring the possibility of heavy rains and severe storms, even tornadoes can't be ruled out.

Even though we have a 50% chance of showers or thunderstorms throughout the day, forecasters are pinpointing the hours between 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. as the times that we can expect the heaviest showers and severe storms.  The biggest threat of widespread severe weather is expected to happen across Arkansas and Northern Louisiana, however hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes can not be ruled out in Deep East Texas.
