St. Cyprian’s Bayou Bash is Online and Underway
The annual Bayou Bash benefitting St. Cyprian's Episcopal School in Lufkin is underway. Even though the 2021 version of the Bayou Bash has moved to an online event, many of the event's benchmarks remain the same.
For starters, you can't have a Bayou Bash and not have delicious food. Organizers have teamed up with Texas Custom Catering for a special 'To-Geaux' Cajun dinner featuring bourbon wings, red beans & rice, cajun cornbread, dessert and drink for $20. The dinners will be available for pick up at the school parking lot between 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.
The Bayou Bash silent online auction is up and running and features numerous items varying in value from less than $50 all the way to priceless. Some of the auction items include:
- Date night and stay at a suite at the Fredonia Hotel
- Golf for four at Crown Colony
- Teacher for a Day
- Casserole for a year from Tome Catering
- Oakley Sunglasses
- Big Fridge Cooler
- Cajun Fryer
- Bass Fishing Trip for Two
- Riverhouse weekend
- Crystal Beach House Getaway
- Whataburger for a year
- Pet boarding
- Sam Shupak in concert at your event
- Steak and Shrimp for 20
- Gas Generator
- Numerous desserts
There are many other auction items as well.
You can't have a Bayou Bash without the Royal Street Raffle. Five separate $500 gift cards will be drawn for Brookshire Brothers, Target, Academy, Lowes, and VISA. Tickets are on sale now for $5/each or 3 for $10. Tickets can be purchased from any staff, student or board member from St. Cyprian's School or at the school office. The drawing will take place at 6 p.m. on March 25.
There will also be a 'Live Game' in which only 100 tickets will be sold at $50 each for the shot at winning a $1200 Gucci soho small leather disco bag. Those tickets will onlly be sold for 12 hours beginning at 6 a.m. on March 26.
