Usually, when it comes to the annual KICKS 105 Big Bass Splash on Lake Sam Rayburn, the person who catches the biggest fish wins the grand prize.  Not this time, however.

Sasquatch, Chupacabra, a well behaved 2 year old; myths and legends abound in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Kicks 105 now has photographic evidence of the Bayou Mangler. (Insert scream here.)

This past Sunday morning the internet told me that an alleged assault had occurred in the Lufkin area. Naturally I was curious, and read the story. This particular alleged assault included a catfish.

Just after 2am Sunday, June 1st, Lufkin police were called to a home on Davis Street after calls came in about a fishy disturbance.

Brady Knowlton is very hands-on when it comes to noodling. The 30-year-old Texan is pushing the state legislature to pass a bill which would make it legal to noodle, which is fishing with your hands.
