Creepy Roadside Ritual Found On Louisiana-Arkansas Border

On a recent return trip from Arkansas, I was reminded of a terrifying tribute that appears on a road sign just a few miles from the Arkansas-Louisiana state line. A corpse... Mangled and hung from the sign. For what purpose? A trophy? A warning? Perhaps. We can't say for sure. For a number of years this macabre display has made random appearances with no warning or explanation.
