Today, the people of Nacogdoches finally got a glimpse of what the new elementary school will look like, and when that construction project is set to begin.

If everything goes as planned, SFA is hoping to have this new facility completed by 2021.

According to a Facebook post from the City of Nacogdoches, the intersection of Austin and Raguet Street should be open by Monday, August 26th.

In case you didn't know, there will be some pretty major changes coming to the Nacogdoches roadways starting next week.

Big changes seem to be happening at the mall where Sears once was.

In early 2017, if all goes well, the South Nacogdoches Highway 59 construction project should be completed.  As you drive through that area just south of Loop 224, it's hard to envision exactly what the finished product will look like.

Beginning July 10 2014, westbound traffic on Loop 287 in Lufkin will be reduced to one lane at Business 59.
