Mike Fisher

On this day in 2010, Carrie Underwood told Fox News that she wouldn't be singing at her wedding to hockey player Mike Fisher… she said, "I won't sing, no. That's my job"… Underwood and her now husband can be seen almost nightly at predators games in Nashville.

As our man in Nashville, Jimmy Carter, reported earlier this morning, Mike Fisher, one of Ottawa's favorite sons and a standout player on the NHL's Senators hockey team, has been traded to the Nashville Predators. Is it just a mere coincidence that this happened, even though Carrie and Mike do have a home in Music City?

There are a lot of country singers getting married or about to get married these days.  Are any of them gonna start a family anytime soon?  Carrie certainly knows the answer for herself and Mike Fisher.
