The concert line up has been announced for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We already knew that George Strait would close out the rodeo and Cody Johnson would open the rodeo.  Now we know all the other artists that will filling out the venue for the twenty-one total performances.

Thirteen of those concerts will be country. The other eight will be a variety of music genres.  Here's a look at the line up:

  • Saturday, March 12: Parker McCollum
  • Sunday, March 13: Dierks Bentley
  • Monday, March 14: Sam Hunt
  • Tuesday, March 15: Gwen Stefani
  • Wednesday, March 16: Khalid
  • Thursday, March 17: Chris Stapleton

The star entertainers begin performing after the last rodeo event is completed each evening and the stage is set.

Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. with the concerts getting underway approximately at 8:45.  Weekend rodeos get started at 3:45 p.m. with the concerts slated to begin around 5:45.

The rodeo on Saturday, March 19 will start at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, March 20 will be a concert only performance that will start at 7 p.m.

Individual RODEOHOUSTON tickets will go on sale to the public Thursday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m., at rodeohouston.com. Ticket prices start at $20, plus a $4 convenience fee. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is held at NRG Stadium.
