It may quickly become your new favorite Blue Bell flavor, and it may also be really hard to find.  We're on the hunt for Blue Bell's Mardi Gras King Cake ice cream, so let us know where you see it.

Our friends over in Brenham sure do crank out some addictive ice cream flavors, and w e're going to have to share our love for Blue Bell with Albuquerque and Indianapolis this year.  More about that in a sec.

Blue Bell Mardi Gras King Cake ice cream has been making the internet lose its mind for awhile now, and it's one of those flavors that was easier to find pre-listeria.  Now the specialty flavors are more few and far between, but with Mardi Gras coming up our odds of finding the King Cake flavor may increase. We've seen a few Facebook posts from folks who have found it.  If you see it, let us know where.

Mardi Gras King Cake is cinnamon ice cream with pastry pieces, candy sprinkles, and vanilla icing swirled in. Let a spoonful of that melt in your mouth with jazz music and candles going, and that's a pretty good Saturday night.

And while we're punching our willpower in the nose, we might as well mention that Butter Crunch Ice Cream just landed in some stores yesterday.  That's vanilla ice cream loaded with chunks of crunchy chocolate peanut butter candy.  That's it, we're done with the New Year's resolutions.  Unless they involve more Blue Bell.

Blue Bell is expanding to Albuquerque  March 12th, and the company says it's also putting its ice cream in stores in Indianapolis the same day, along with Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.  Different flavors go to different places, so if there's a shortage of the King Cake let's keep that in Texas and Louisiana, but other than that, we're very happy for those folks.

More Blue Bell!
