The annual Toys for Tots Kickoff took place Monday evening at the Brookshire Brothers located in the Gaslight Plaza in Lufkin.  This event officially kicks off the giving season for the Toys for Tots program that helps place toys into the hands of less fortunate kids in East Texas.

Until Christmas, East Texans are asked to donate new toys or money for this program.

You know, we're always looking for creative ways to raise money for Toys for Tots, and one of those wild and crazy ways presented itself while we were at Brookshire Brothers.  Greg Johnson from Love's Truck Stop brought in a couple Paqui Tortilla Chips which are coated with spices from the Carolina Reaper Pepper, one of hottest peppers known to man.  Johnson said he would donate $100 to Toys for Tots if we could find 4 folks to eat just half of one of those chips.  4 brave souls stepped up for the challenge.

Watch the video to see their reactions to eating the Paqui.
