Millions of dollars will be up for grabs Saturday afternoon at the Forest Fest as the Brookshire Brothers Price is Right promotion will play out at the Expo.
Organizations that lay the foundation for stronger communities will have more resources to help them help others thanks to Brookshire Brothers. On Tuesday, the Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation awarded more than $100,000 in grants to 16 non-profits and 5 education foundations across its market.
According to a release from Lufkin-based corporate offices of Brookshire Brothers, Jerry Johnson (shown at left) will step down as President and CEO at the end of April 2017. He will continue as a member of the grocer’s Board of Directors. John Alston, the current Chief Operating Officer and a 35-year veteran of the company, will succeed Johnson as President and CEO.
