The push to collect toys this Christmas season for the less fortunate children in our area is underway with the Marine Corps Reserve and Toys for Tots.
The annual Toys for Tots Kickoff took place Monday evening at the Brookshire Brothers located in the Gaslight Plaza in Lufkin. This event officially kicks off the giving season for the Toys for Tots program that helps place toys into the hands of less fortunate kids in East Texas.
The annual Toys for Tots Campaign directed by the Marine Reserves kicks off with a big event Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Brookshire Brothers Gaslight location in Lufkin.
Every year in Angelina and Trinity counties, Brian Crews and his group of hard working volunteers put together the Toys for Tots Drive. Their big toy drive event is coming up this Friday and Saturday (Dec 4th and 5th) in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter in Lufkin.
More than 60 bikes, a handful of scooters, and several overflowing Toys for Tots boxes were donated by Nacogdoches ISD employees, campuses and departments this Christmas season.
KICKS 105 and the Marines are asking for your help. The annual Toys for Tots drive is well underway and this Friday and Saturday it culminates with the on site event at the Walmart Super Center parking lot in Lufkin.
The Toys for Tots drive is continuing in East Texas and we're getting down to the final stretch. Donations are running a bit behind this year but here's a great way to help out and enjoy great food at the same time.
