Weekly Outstanding Band Students Recognized

The KICKS 105 Friday Night Frenzy Outstanding Band Members of the Week sponsored by Citizen's National Bank have been announced.

Band members of the last two weeks for Lufkin are:

Friday, October 19th

• Elise Cavanugh is a senior trumpet player, section leader, and uniform crew captain.  Elise is band member of the week because of her non-stop commitment to serve her fellow band members.

• Joshua Williams is a senior saxophone player, section leader, and quarter master.  Josh is band member of the week because of his dedication to pushing those around him to perform at a higher level.

Friday, October 26th

• Angeles Cortez is a senior flute player, section leader, and uniform crew member and is band member of the week because her willingness to serve her fellow band members.

• Micah Bonnin is a senior trumpet player and section leader.  He is band member of the week because of his work ethic and the example he sets for others.

Band member of the week for Huntington High School is Callie Luce, who is a junior trumpet player. Callie is always working hard to better her band. Callie is an exceptional band member because of her dedication and excellence to our band program.
