Don't put away the heavy jackets just yet.  A strong cold front has stormed across East Texas Monday morning bringing temperatures into the 50s with wind chills 10-15 degrees below that.  And now we have the possibility of ICE??!!

Yes, but in the form of hail.  A severe thunderstorm watch is in place over most of the Pineywoods until 5 Monday afternoon.  (Tyler, Jasper and Newton counties are the only ones not included.) Severe storms continue to wreak havoc across the mid-section of the state and many of those could drop heavy rain, hail, and damaging winds to East Texas later this afternoon.  Isolated tornadoes can also develop in some of these severe storms as was reported yesterday in the Lovelady area.

Rain chances will subside tonight, but we can expect lows into the 30s both tonight and Tuesday night.
