11-Year-Old East Texas Girl Abducted, Amber Alert Issued
An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing East Texas girl. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Mia James who is 11 years old.
She is described as a white female. James is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 98 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
James was last seen at 8:25 p.m. on November 14, 2024, in the 6200 Block of County Road 3925 in Athens, Texas.

Mia was wearing a long-sleeved teal hoodie with “venom” in glitter and black shorts.
Law enforcement officials believe the child to be in grave or immediate danger. Anyone with information regarding this child abduction should contact the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office at 903-677-6311.
