Amber Alert Issued for Missing Northeast Texas Teenage Girl
An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing northeast Texas teenager.
According to the Red River County Sheriff's Office, authorities are trying to locate Erika Anderson. She is described as a white, 15-year-old female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie. She may also be going by the name Erika McCarver.
Police are also searching for a person of interest in her abduction. Jonathan Ramirez is described as a white, 22-year-old male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs approximately 150 pounds. It is unknown what clothes he may be wearing.
The pair may be traveling in a green and beige 2009 Toyota Camry with Texas license plate number RWW6625.
Anderson was last seen in the 11000 block of State Highway 82, just west of Paris, Texas.
Authorities believe she and Ramirez may be in the vicinity of Watauga, Texas, which is located north of Fort Worth.
Law enforcement officials believe that this teenager could be in grave or immediate danger. Even though investigators believe she may be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, police are advising all Texas residents to keep a watchful eye for anyone matching her or her assailant's description.
