Also as anticipated, the 2018 CMAs will honor some of the biggest names in country music and include memorable performances and collaborations. No performers have been announced yet, but nominees will be revealed on Aug. 28 on Good Morning America, live from 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Luke Bryan’s brand-new restaurant and bar on Lower Broadway in downtown Nashville.
Bryan, a two-time CMA Awards Entertainer of the Year winner, will announce the nominees with Dan + Shay and Sugarland. CMA nominees (and winners) are determined by more than 7,400 professional members of the Country Music Association.
After 10 years of hosting together, Paisley and Underwood have their favorite memories of the CMA Awards. Last year, the co-hosts sat down with CMA Insider and discussed their best moments, which include performing the famous "Gangnum Style" choreography in 2012, poking fun at Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on a number of occasions, and making relevant jokes about current world events, like "Obamacare by Morning."
One can only imagine all the jokes Paisley and Underwood have up their sleeves when they return as co-hosts this year.
