How To Nominate a Teacher
Use this form to nominate a teacher.
When you nominate a teacher, you'll be asked to write a few lines about him or her. You don't have to go into a deep essay as to why the teacher is deserving, but please say a few more words than "She is nice and sweet" or "He is entertaining".
As the end of the semester approaches, a winning teacher will be randomly drawn from all qualifying nominations.
What They Said About Lucy Lopez
Numerous nominations were submitted for Mrs. Lopez. Here's what a few of them had to say:
"...She is not only a teacher to these kids, she is like a second mother to them. She is selfless and always in service to others. She goes to extracurricular activities for her students and still makes time to visit her previous students with their out-of-school activities..."
"...She’s so compassionate and patient with all of her students. She helped us discover that our son was dyslexic and worked with him every day to help him learn with it..."
"...There are teachers, and then there are those rare individuals who go far beyond the role—who lead with heart, serve with passion, and give their all every single day. This teacher is one of those rare gems..."
