Dr. Seuss Releases New Book – ‘Horse Museum’
My kids loved Dr. Seuss books. All three of my children learned to read and count with the help of Dr. Seuss. I can remember my sons, especially, cracking up as I would read Green Eggs and Ham, in character, when Sam was under water, bubbles and all. Or, the graduations gifts I handed out to my students. Everyone got a copy of Oh, The Places We Will Go.
Now, 28 years after his death, Theodor Seuss Geisel (better known to his readers as Dr. Seuss) is releasing a new book. According to GMA, the book was only about 80% complete when it was found in 2013. It does look a little different than his other books, but it still has everything that makes Dr. Seuss books so special. Amazon describes the book like this,
Based on a manuscript and sketches discovered in 2013, this book is like a visit to a museum—with a horse as your guide!
Explore how different artists have seen horses, and maybe even find a new way of looking at them yourself. Discover full-color photographic art reproductions of pieces by Picasso, George Stubbs, Rosa Bonheur, Alexander Calder, Jacob Lawrence, Deborah Butterfield, Franz Marc, Jackson Pollock, and many others—all of which feature a horse!
Take a look.
If you are starting your Christmas shopping soon, this book would make a great gift. You can get a hardcopy of the book for only $13.99. Find Horse Museum at bookstores now or at amazon.com.
