Family Crisis Center Wins in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good

The Family Crisis Center of East Texas will be getting a new Toyota vehicle to help with their organization compliments of Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program...and compliments of you.  Yesterday, thousands of folks from East Texas and beyond took to their computers and smart phones and placed their votes.  There were four other non-profit agencies across the nation that were competing, but early this afternoon Toyota announced that the Family Crisis Center of East Texas was the top vote getter.

Heather Kartye, executive director with the Center, issued this statement on her Facebook page:

The results are in! It was just announced that the Family Crisis Center of East Texas is the “Day 73” WINNER in the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program. Thank you all so much for your support and hard work in helping make this happen for the agency!
