Applebee’s Employee Ambushed and Shot in Shreveport

On the night of Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:43pm the Shreveport Police Department responded to a call for a shooting in the 9000 block of Mansfield Road at Applebee’s Restaurant.

According to authorities, an employee found themselves targeted in the parking lot of the restaurant. Multiple gunshots were fired, resulting in the employee sustaining several wounds. The male victim, believed to be in his 20’s, was transported to Oschner LSU Hospital to be treated. His injuries at this time are deemed non-life-threatening and the victim is expected to recover.

Upon investigating the scene, SPD discovered numerous shell casings, suggesting
multiple individuals were involved in the assault.

Witnesses reported that multiple suspects fled the scene in a white vehicle.
