Lufkin PD – Intoxicated Man Tries to Bathe in Road Puddle

This is the wrong way to try for a 'clean record'.

Late Friday night Lufkin police responded to Rowe Avenue and found 31 year old Clifton Garrett intoxicated and on the side of the road trying to bathe in a street puddle. 

Garrett was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Also, late Friday night, police noticed a man who had fallen off his bike while riding on South First Street.  When the officer made contact with the subject, Dempsey Dixon, he was subsequently arrested for public intoxication.
