Police Release More Details on Missing Pregnant Texas Teenager
Police in Leon Valley, Texas continue to ask the public to be on the lookout for a missing teenager who is 9 months pregnant.
According to a report, Savanah Soto was scheduled to be induced on Saturday night at a San Antonio area hospital. Hospital officials indicated that she never showed up for that appointment. Family members said that Soto had not been seen since late Friday night, December 22.
Given the information surrounding this case, the Texas Department of Public Safety has issued a Clear Alert for Savanah Soto. Clear alerts are issued to assist law enforcement in locating and rescuing missing, kidnapped or abducted adults, or adults who are in immediate danger of injury or death, as well as aid in locating any potential suspects.
Soto is described as an 18-year-old female. She is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds. She was last seen Friday night in the 6000 block of Grissom Road in Leon Valley, Texas, located in the northwestern San Antonio metro.
Soto has brown hair and brown eyes. She has not been responding to phone calls.
The CBS report goes on to indicate that the girl's boyfriend has not been seen over the past few days as well.
Soto may be traveling in a 2013 gray Kia Optima. There are two possible license plates associated with the vehicle.
The Optima may have a temporary plate - 4289D57 or it may have a permanent plate - TRC9447.
