Mutton Busters Drawn for Angelina Benefit Rodeo

The Angelina Benefit Rodeo is this Wednesday through Saturday at the George H Henderson Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin. The rodeo kicks off nightly at 7.

One of the most entertaining events of the rodeo is the mutton bustin' competition. Each night, 12 cowboys and cowgirls between the ages of 5-9 will try their hand at riding sheep. Registration for the drawings has been taken place over the past couple of weeks at Boot Barn in Lufkin. 2 of the 48 riders were chosen through a drawing at KICKS VIP rewards. Below is the list of the nightly riders drawn during the KICKS Road Show at Boot Barn Tuesday afternoon.

A representative of the Lufkin Host Lions club will be contacting each of the rider's parents/guardians to go through the instructions.
