Power of Pink Tickets Now on Sale [VIDEO]

20 years ago, a small group of ladies complete with sack lunches in hand, came together to remember a friend who's life was taken by cancer.  Now, flash forward two decades and look at what has become of this small seed.  

The 20th annual Power of Pink luncheon presented by Memorial Health System of East Texas is coming October 18th from 11:30am - 1pm at the Pitser Garrison Civic Center in Lufkin, and ticket sales kicked off this past Saturday which a special sale in front of Victoria's Secret in the Lufkin Mall.

The event educates our community and celebrates those who are fighting and who have fought cancer together.  Plus, this year's guest/motivational speaker will be comedian Karyn Ruth White.  (check out a video clip at the end of this article).

The 4th annual Art Bra exhibit will also be featured at the Power of Pink.  Anyone in the community is encouraged to participate in this event.

The Power of Pink luncheon usually sells out weeks in advance, mainly due to so many area businesses getting on board to buy sponsorship tables, which is why ticket sales have launched earlier this year, so as to give individuals extra time to buy their tickets.
