Public’s Help Wanted in Finding Suspect in Lufkin Walmart Fire
The Lufkin Fire Marshal’s Office is asking for help in identifying a man who has been named a suspect in the Walmart chip aisle fire.
An employee said that she saw the suspect described as a black male wearing gray pants and a long sleeve T-shirt walk into the store angrily after arguing with another customer over a parking spot outside the store. The employee said the suspect was driving a “blueish” Chrysler 300.
She said the man entered the store cussing and yelling about the parking lot incident. The suspect was seen leaving the chip aisle roughly 30 seconds before the fire began.
