There are many things in my daily life that make me smile.  A hug from my kids, an 'I Love You' from my wife, the taste of a perfectly prepared medium-rare steak are just a few of those things.

Nearly two years ago, our family decided to make a puppy who was left on the side of the road a permanent member of the Merrell household.  Gryffin sure knows how to make me smile at the end of a tough day.  Here's how she likes to greet me when I get home.
