The Huntington 12U All Star baseball team made a visit to the Merrell in the Morning Show this week.  These guys are the Dixie League State Champions and they'll be representing the Lone Star State in South Carolina at the World Series August 7th-16th.

The Huntington Highsteppers are presenting their annual Candy Cane Lane shopping experience today until 4 p.m.   The event is taking place at the Huntington High School Commons area.

Ben Weber died Wednesday at the age 91.  The World War II veteran was the special guest speaker at last Tuesday's Huntington ISD Veterans Day event.

The 30th annual Texas State Forest Festival is just a few days away.  It runs September 17th through the 21st at the George H Henderson Expo Center in Lufkin and once again the KICKS 105 Pom Squad/Dance Team Championships will get things underway.
