It's been a beautiful week across the Pineywoods with cooler temps and an abundance of blue skies.  Could all that be coming to an end on this Columbus Day Weekend?

A cool front approaching from our West will start bringing rain chances as early as midday Saturday.  These rain chances will be at their highest (50%) during the afternoon and evening hours.  A few thunderstorms will also be possible, however, at this time, the National Weather Service is not predicting a major rainfall event.  From Saturday through Monday, a few areas in East Texas may receive a total of up to an inch of rainfall, but closer to a quarter to a half inch should be the norm.
